The licensed massage therapists and estheticians who work at Spa-tique will utilize proper draping techniques in order to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Communication with your therapist about your treatment is essential to help personalize your spa experience.
Please be sure to inform the receptionist or therapist if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart ailments or any condition that may counteract with heat therapies, massage or skin care. For your safety and well-being, we highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to, or immediately following spa treatments; immediate sun exposure following skin care therapies; and shaving prior to and after exfoliation treatments. Some treatments may not be performed on sunburned skin.
In order to provide a healthy and relaxing spa experience, we do not permit smoking anywhere on the premises, and we ask that you please turn off your cell phones prior to entering the spa.
Out of courtesy to our relaxation guests and the safety of your children, we ask that children not accompany any of our clients for their scheduled appointments including waxing, massage and facials. Children are not to be left unattended within the spa under any circumstances.

To secure your appointment, a credit card will be required. You may pay for your services on the day of your appointment with cash, check, credit card or gift certificate. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time to fill out any necessary intake forms, use the restroom and begin to relax! Your appointment is scheduled with a specific therapist/esthetician whose time is allocated exclusively to you throughout your treatment. Therefore, a late arrival or start time will lessen the time available to complete your treatment.
Please arrive a bit early to ensure that your session can begin on time.
Please call ahead if you are running more than 5 minutes late. You will be given as much of your scheduled time as the therapist/esthetician’s schedule can permit, though treatment times will be shortened as needed.
We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment with us. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment it is standard spa policy to give advance notice for all cancellations, as follows:
Typically, gratuity at a spa is calculated the same way as is commonly done at restaurants, about 15-20% or more if you feel you received excellent care. Gift certificates do not include gratuity unless paid for in advance and noted otherwise on the gift certificate.
Please Note: We do not allow gratuities to be put on credit or debit cards. Cash or Personal Check written to your service provider are accepted. Thank you for understanding.
Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts can often be used for therapeutic massage. Just get a prescription from your health care provider. We’ll provide you the documentation you need. Use your benefits by the end of the year so you don’t lose them!
• Saturday or Sunday cancellations require minimum 48 hours notice
• Tuesday through Friday cancellations require minimum 24 hours notice
• Late cancellations, and ‘no-shows’ will be charged at the full amount of
the services scheduled, all services rescheduled with less than 24 hours
notice are also subject to full billing of the services scheduled
• If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment in advance in
consideration of our therapists and to ensure your maximum enjoyment of
your spa experience.
